Watch TV on Your PC with FreeZ

by on 07/24/2009 in Internet, Software

FreeZ Online TV is an application that can receive over 500+ free online channels from all over the world. The neat thing about it besides being free, is that you do not need any special hardware like a PC TV card because the TV channels are streamed through your Internet connection.

FreeZ also offers a toolbar that you can easily access more programs from. The toolbar offers the following;

  • 1750 Online TV Stations
  • 1500 Online Radio Stations
  • Google, Wikipedia &Torrent Search
  • RSS Video Feeds

If your browser toolbar is already cluttered, it is best that you don’t select the toolbar during the installation. I am not a person who likes clutter.

FreeZ uses Windows Media Player where you can control the play with the familiar control bar.

To control what you’re watching is simple, right click anywhere on the video screen to get to menu commands and other options.

What I like most is the simplicity to run FreeZ on your PC. You may notice that some channels don’t load, but with over 500 at your finger tips, I am sure you will find something to watch during some needed rest and relaxation.

Not all things that are free are good, but FreeZ has something to offer everyone, but don’t expect this to replace your current TV provider.

Download FreeZ TV direct.

        Hey hate to rain on the parade, this is cool and all but you really don’t need to bother downloading anything. Try doing a post on http://freetubetv.net I think that’s the right url.

        It’s basically this only online and in your browser..all the channels and then some. i use it at work when I should be doing my tps reports lol

  3. Frank,

    Thanks for sharing this. I love to watch TV from my computer, but always have a hard time finding a good site to do so. Most of the sites are very slow, or are just full of viruses and spyware. I’ll be sure to this out! :)

    This looks pretty sweet. I am always trying to find ways to watch television and movies for free on my computer. The biggest problem I have is finding sports, especially live. any suggestions…??
