Times are Tough Sell Some Stuff

There are many people feeling the recession blues with many fearing the worst is yet to come. I talk to people everyday and they’re not sure if they will still have a job tomorrow. These people have homes and families to feed, but have no way of surviving if they find themselves on the unemployment line.
What can you do today to earn some extra cash?
You need to start going through your home and inventory the stuff you have that you no longer use. You would be surprised how much junk we accumulate over time. This so-called junk could be a cash machine. Don’t throw it away, sell it on eBay!
If you put in a little effort, you can earn hundreds of dollars or more by selling stuff you no longer need. There are many people using the online auction website today who are in need of cash fast.
How do I sell on eBay?
Selling on eBay is a great way to make extra money – and have fun doing it!
To get started, click the Sell button at the top of most eBay pages, and then on the next page, click the Start selling button. We’ll guide you through the process of listing your item step-by-step, including helping you find the best category. Selecting the right category is important as it helps buyers find your listing.
Before you sell on eBay you must:
- Be a registered member and
- Become a seller.
Before you list an item:
Look for similar items that have recently sold on eBay to help you select the best category, price, or learn your item’s potential value.
You can learn more by visiting this link http://pages.ebay.com/help/sell/questions/list-item.html.
Not only will you make extra cash, but you will also clean out your unwanted stuff.

I was reading an article earlier about this, people searching through attics and basements to sell unused items to gain extra money.
I guess that I also have my fair share of ‘junk’ which could do with a serious look through, but I’m keeping hold of my train set LOL
It was bought in 1961 for Christmas and was packed away in 1962 as my father was posted to Mauritius. Now it sits in its own case, all boxed with the original prices and accessories. Back then it cost the equivalent of UK £5 (USD $7 approx), which was a lot of money. The locomotive alone was half the price at 52 shillings and sixpence LOL
Now it’s laptops, Wii’s, iPhones, iPods etc. How times change lol

I would hold on to that train set for sure, it could be worth a lot more one day!

If you’re like me, and you have a huge bookshelf full of books you may no longer be interested in that are still in good condition, also check out selling your stuff on Amazon marketplace. I sold one book hours after it listed, and it’s been going well since.

Kristi,
Thanks for the comment and it’s true Amazon does work well.

How about just selling the stuff already on eBay. It does not have to be your stuff. No inventory, no shipping, but it is getting harder to be approved as an eBay Network Partner.
