Orbit Downloader is a great freeware application for downloading videos, games, and large files. Orbit’s download manager is simple to use, but it may frustrate Firefox users. I am sure they will fix the clumsiness with Firefox.

Orbit’s interface is plain Jane, but the toolbar and info boxes make everything easy to find. Orbit plays well with Internet Explorer integration. To download a media file simply right-click a video or photo and choose download from your menu. Downloading a game is even easier. Hover over a file, and Orbit displays a button for a fast download. It uses very little system memory, and downloads are much faster than with a browser alone.

Although designed to integrate with IE, Firefox, Opera, and Maxthon, I did experience issues to get it to work seamlessly with Firefox. Despite this, for mass downloading, Orbit Downloader is definitely worth a look.
