Socially Driving Visitors
by Frank Jovine on 07/17/2008 in Social Networking
As a dedicated blogger my greatest return on my investment is visitors reading my content. The most important thing a blogger can do is establish a fan base by visiting other blog sites and leaving well-constructive comments. This will aid in building relationships with other bloggers.
Unfortunately, commenting to build your fan base is very, very time consuming. You need to search out and test other traffic drivers that can possibly bring in thousands of visitors to your blog. Two words I for you and they’re “Social Networks”, one of the biggest traffic driving engines on the internet.
The biggest problem is choosing which Social Network will produce the best traffic results. There are many to choose from, but I will provide my experience and results on what I believe are the best Social sites on the net.
StumbleUpon produces the most referral traffic for my blog. I have 200 fans or friends and I try to actively communicate with at least 20 every week. StumbleUpon has been my thoroughbred.
Reddit produces low to moderate referral traffic, but it’s still worth submitting your blog to. On average Reddit refers 200 unique hits per week.
Digg is surprisingly not a great traffic producer with such a large following. I still use this social, but may decide to give another a try.

I think Stumbleupon is the best Social Networking site that drive more traffic to our blog. Digg and Reddit is good but not as good as Stumbleupon
Nice post bro. Keep the good work. God bless

It seems stumbleupon is better than digg but digg is better than reddit. Maybe there are more stumbleupon users…?

The combination of Entrecard, Mixx, Reddit and Stumble works best for me.
