Obama or Osama bin Laden?
Posted 07.30.2008 by Frank J in Politics,
It sounds so strange that the two first names are so close in comparison. It’s almost 7 years now that our president Mr. Bush has not yet filled his promise of capture. The one thing I know for sure is that he (Bush) will go down as the worst president in US history, but that doesn’t bring back the 4000 soldiers who died for our country or the capture of Osama bin Laden.
I am not sure that Obama if elected, will do any better being handed off a huge deficit, and foreign relation issues. Where do we go from here?
Everyday I think of the two names and wonder if the anti-Christ will rise as our next president. The names are close, but not exact. I am not sure if our next generation will have a chance to even make it in the next 20 years. You can forget about Social Security, it will be gone long before I turn 65, which is in 19 years.
What are we to think come election time? I mean who else is even close to being elected? It’s definitely not the old man McCain. The man is going through father time and that is not what this country needs.
I love America for all it stands for, but America is not the same or even close to what it was back in the early 90’s. Our country is now stricken by poor leadership and the lack of good government.
I needed to vent as the 7th anniversary of 9/11 is approaching, and being close to that horrific day still makes me want to join the service and fight for revenge, but no service will take a 46 year old man. If they ever change the age limit to serve and fight for this country, just give me a pen!
God bless and a safe return to all our men and women who served with bravery for our country.

The US citizens must vote widely because all the people in this world is looking to the US on what will happen to its future.
If the US go down, I’m sure all of us will go down God forbid!
Look at the consequence of the war in Iraq… the price of oil increase so much!

The US is not sitting pretty financially and that is a major issue for us. We need a change and that is coming soon.

I certainly agree about Bush being the worst President in history and McCain being too old (not actual age but his mental and physical age) to be President. Hopefully Obama can do it as he is our only choice. I still think that Hillary would have been best for the job and still hope she will be the VP, but we need to get the republicans out of office already.

Jennifer I totally agree! Anyone but Bush will make a difference.

You cannot honestly be arguing that the similarity of both names somehow makes Obama unfit to be president. According to this logic, since Frank and Crank are only one letter apart, and crank is a term used to describe a fraud, then everything Frank says is completely unhinged and unworthy of consideration.
July 30th, 2008 on 1:16 pm
Felix, it was not what I was communicating. I was just making a statement that they look the same slightly. You have to open your mind on this one.
July 30th, 2008 on 7:12 pm
Frank are you getting in trouble again?
July 30th, 2008 on 7:19 pm
On the similarity of the names. Osama, or Usama is originally translated from Arabic. Since that language does not use our letters, translations can vary.
I heard something kind of funny a few years back, although unsubstantiated. I heard that the true Arabic translation is Usama, but the American press changed the translation to be spelled Osama so it didn’t start with the letters “USA”!
Just a bit of interesting trivia! So in that light, Obama isn’t similar at all to Usama!
Couldn’t agree with you more on the sad state of our Country in the last 20 years or so!

No not at all no trouble I can’t handle

You like to censor things eh? Don’t worry, I’ll give you another chance before that’s how you’ll appear to the rest of the world. Information is not to censor, what if somebody censored your website? Such disrespect to a fellow blogger–just because you don’t like the information presented? You don’t post it, then I will, and I’ll also add how you like the censor things not to your liking. How long did it take you to make this? 10 minutes? I spent 3 hours on it’s carefully crafted words. Have some respect for others–even those that disagree with your views.
Osama bin Laden, wasn’t the target to begin with. Saddam Hussein was. Osama bin Laden isn’t in Iraq. In all likeliness, Osama bin Laden is dead already–evidence points toward this being the fact.
But beyond that, he hasn’t claimed responsibility for the 9/11 attacks. Not only that, but there is no proof of his connection to them. Let’s say for a moment that part of the “official” story is true, that Al-Queda men really did do the attacks. That doesn’t make Osama Bin Laden guilty. Wtf, it’s like if a Catholic bombed somewhere and we tried to convict the pope for the crime. Of course the story isn’t true. It’s bloody obvious. Furthermore, the Bush administration has lied about everything, yet people still say, “Oh, but he wasn’t lying about 9/11!”
And didn’t you notice? Once we got Saddam Hussein, oh no, now we need Osama Bin Laden. Who’s next? Just continue the circus. Oh wait, we already have our next target of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
Now we get to go on to your BS about the anti-Christ. I mean, wtf. Because Obama’s name is close to Osama? What does this mean? That Osama is the anti-Christ? Do you have any logic left or has religious nuttery consumed your whole brain? This is what religion does to you. Find correlations out of nothing. So their name is close, or sounds close, or looks close, or has close to 6 letters, or the number representation of his name added up and divided equally is 6… It means NOTHING. Symbolism only works in works of FICTION. There is no symbolism in real life. It’s stupid to even point out stuff like that.
Furthermore, wtf are you worried about? According to religion, the anti-Christ is going to rise anyways. Your not going to stop it, nor the rest of the nutcases. It’s unstoppable in religion. So quit making straw men to screw over. I would think you would be glad if he’s taking over, because then your resurrected Christ will come and God will slay you (rapture) so you can go to heaven.
And the fact that you support America for all it stands for shows that you don’t know what it stands for. What, freedom? No, you have no freedom, all of them have been taken away under terms of war (ever bloody read the Patriot Act or other articles of war?). Perhaps that we bring freedom? No, democracy doesn’t equate to freedom. In fact, we currently stand as a tyrannous force that thrusts our ideals down your throat freedom. Does that sound like freedom? No. What are we doing? Killing a fourth of a countries population to bring them freedom? I guess death is liberating. We cause more death and terror than that “tyranny” that we’re removing ever did. And don’t be illusioned that we have the most freedom in the world, that titles been taken long ago by places like Sweden. Freedom of religion even? Hah, more like freedom of the big religions to bully the little ones if they don’t think the same. America the first to implement freedoms? Maybe, but being the first, doesn’t mean you did it right. Nor, does that say anything about now.
And the government is pretty much the same as the 90s. Plans were in motion to do this from the 90s. Government has always been trying to remove your freedoms. What you are thinking of is the economical boom of the 90s due to the wide adaption of computers and the internet. But bigger, is the fact that we weren’t in a bloody war! AMAZING! Prosperity were there is no war. Huh, didn’t realize that happens. Funny, how people associate good times with good government. It’s a fallacy. Just a little information as well. US has existed about 333 years, 99 of which have been in a war. And I’m not even counting the cold war. That’s a third, a third of our war mongering country’s life.
A little reality check. It’s under amazing leadership. How else can you get a whole population to agree with your lies over and over again. What’s the most current lie? “THE SURGE IS WORKING!” Woohoo! Just like all the other claims that the war is going good. That’s what I call fine leadership, to get the majority to agree with your current BS, even though they know you were previously BSing with them.
And just listen to yourself, fight for revenge? What the hell? Fight your bloody government for allowing it to happen. Not only that though, what, one terrorist act is like the end of the world? Terrorism happens daily all across the world. And it happens once to us, and we go berserk? So what if it was the largest, at least it doesn’t happen daily. Furthermore, it’s highly suspicious–with more than likely that our government played a role in it… the whole rest of the world actually sees it as our government did it–because they don’t listen to ridiculous American propaganda and they actually use facts.
But that just supports why someone like McCain can in fact become president. Because all our pathetic people want is war. War war war, we have to stay in the war (they’ll fall apart, we’re the only ones killin… I mean supporting them), we need to go to Iran as well (two wars at once woohoo!), we need more revenge (already vastly killed more numbers than the so called terrorist act), we need to kill all those bloody terrorists (even though they personally haven’t done any terrorism, we know they’re just dying to cause terror cause other people like them were) ect ect ect. They’re just like you, Mr. I want revenge. I love the bit about peace. We’re creating peace by causing war! YAY! War isn’t peace, so by starting war, we’re not creating peace. Peace isn’t a path, the path is peace.
And before you even start, yes, I support the troops. That doesn’t mean I support the government’s murdering spree (that’s all war is, murder under a different name that somehow makes it good). In fact, I support the troops so much that I want to get them back home with their families. I want them to stop dying, and for them to stop developing life crippling psychological problems due the war. This makes me, far more supporting of the troops, than anyone who supports the war as well could ever be.
Oh, yes, I know exactly where the government is going btw. It’s been known, since like 1996. Exactly like clockwork. Here, it’ll take three hours to explain it:

Rise up to those who enslave you. No president will ever fix us, the people must take back control over our government before they finally enslave us for good. Reality check, the government is supposed to be for the people and by the people, and right now it’s not.
“When each one of us stops acting based on what is right for us as individuals and begins to act based on what is RIGHT and JUST for all beings on this planet, the tide will turn and Big Brother will be no more.”

Yes you spent a lot of time, but you still in all your words missed the point. My gesture about names was a ploy, and it proved to work. Your writing is a bash, but again you missed the point of the draw from the blog. The keyword there would be draw, and it worked.
Thanks for the reply!
July 30th, 2008 on 9:46 pm
You should explain yourself better, you speak in riddles. Ploy? Ploy for what? If it’s a ploy, you must have a tactic or move in with an advantage. Given that it was a ploy, you did nothing with it. So in fact, I accepted your challenge and took your gambit–but I’ve seen no counter. Furthermore, you use of “the draw” seems to have no basis.
Of course I’m quite literal when saying you’re speaking in riddles (well done, quite well done). But I don’t see any poetic nature to your actual blog. Pop culture perhaps? I’m not aware of what you could be referring to then, thus you should have at least posted a link to the original if this was the case.
Sarcasm then? I doubt so. Not even a hint of that. I did notice that all points in the blog were loosely connected, with a seemingly scattered thought outline. I read a few of your other articles before posting of course, and I don’t see anything out of ordinary.
And from the above comments I’m not alone. But to both of us, you state we’re missing the point, or that wasn’t what you were communicating. It thusly shows that we are not the ones at fault for this. I’m afraid the miscommunication on this belongs to you–for failing to get your point across. We’re not magicians, we can’t read your mind–if your meaning is not obvious or at least logically obvious certainly you cannot fault us.
I ask for clarification then. You have me intrigued, I grant you that–but only because I spent quite a lot of work, to counter your points (as vague as they were) since it’s a stumble (if your going to share your views, they should be checked, and have research in them, and actually be logically sound–or at least some form of entertainment). Surely, you could grant us some clarity then, of why this blog–is worthy of time.

I think there are just too many reasons why Obama can’t be US President. The Oldy McCain will probably benefit from it. So Frank are u in trouble now?
August 9th, 2008 on 5:27 pm
Me in trouble? No way. In fact I may run in 4 years
