Google Pagerank Update
by Frank Jovine on 09/28/2008 in Google
Have you noticed a change in your Pagerank? A new update is making its way through the internet and we are happy to announce that we went from a 2/10 to a 4/10. It was not easy! I worked hard the last 3 Months and it paid off. I wish it was from a monetized reward, but that will come soon enough.
Google Pagerank on average updates every 3 to 4 Months and for most web owners it’s like a report card on how well we are doing as far as inbound links go (backlinks).
Pagerank is a numeric value that represents how important a page is on the web. Google figures that when one page links to another page.
More on Pagerank:
Toolbar Pagerank is the only value you’re able to see, it’s like an online report card, which should be utilized as a guide to how well your site is perceived by Google. It’s not an end all evaluation or endorsement of your site.
While Pagerank is an important guide for identifying proper endorsers, don’t let it be the factor in your decision. Remember, relevancy is key. It’s better to have a 100 links from relevant content with relevant anchor text than 1000 links from just any web site that lacks in relevant content.
Pagerank is important, but there’s no need to live and die by your Google Toolbar. Keep in mind the overall premise on linking; someone thinks you are a worthy resource, so they reference your site.

It was a lot of hard work and you know it didn’t come easy. At first when I bought the site I was a PR 3/10 than in 30 days it went to a 2/10 and I was disappointed, but this update was rewarding and the Alexa is doing well also.
Thanks Fool!

Man to think I just launched my website, http://www.puredezigner.com back in the middle of July 2008. I remember reading about the PR updates that were taking place at the end of the July, that’s when I was thinking to myself, man 3-6 months before the next update. But when I check my Alexa stat this evening I noticed something else. I just now finally had an update to my PR, From PR0 to PR3! It’s a simple website based on CSS and XHTML validated web projects I have in my portfolio, non the less, I am very happy about this update to my first ever SEO efforts in web. I’d love to see examples and reports on how your current SEO efforts are going and possible results from from the latest Google PR update, please share your updates with us?
Thanks,
Curtis

Thank you! It really was not easy to achieve and with our Google PR and Alexa rank doing well, it will get even harder.
Writing 3 blogs a day can be tough at times trying to figure out what to write.
