Google Pagerank Update Coming Soon

Google Pagerank toolbar updates approximately every 3 months, but there’s no way in telling when, but only speculation based on previous updates. Our prediction for the next update will be around April 8, 2009. The last update was on January 1, 2009.
There were many site owners disappointed with the last toolbar update, but it is important to remember that the toolbar is “not an accurate indicator of how Google ranks or values a site,” as Loren Baker notes at Search Engine Journal. Though it is still a major factor.

There are many tools you can use to see how well your site is doing when it comes to backlinks.
Backlink Tools:
http://www.seorush.com/ (SEORush not only gives you information on backlinks, but a lot more pertinent information about your blog and website).
http://www.seomoz.org/toolbox/backlinks (seomoz.org provides a nice inventory of tools to measure your blog and website. You must have an account which is free).
http://www.dnscoop.com/ (Another site value tool that gives you more than just information on backlinks).

The last two PR updates were good for me. I’ve been making a lot of changes ever since, so hopefully, things will keep on the path upward!

I hear you. We’ve been stuck at a 3 for the last two updates. We’ve put plenty of time into cleaning up our SEO mess and we’ve acquired some quality links. Hoping to see that 4 or dare I say 5 this time around!

PR 3 isn’t bad as long as you don’t fall to a 2 you’re doing well.

I have also been stuck at a PR3 for my web directory for the last couple of updates as well. pagerank is nice to have, but it isn’t the end of the world either.
Web traffic gets the job done very well if you can convert it into sales. My blog is about blog tips and ethical SEO and it is all free.
Looking forward to this update to see what happens to my blog for PR. I had recently moved it from madmouse.com into its own Domain. I change my permalink structure as well, so this could be interesting.
It was a PR3, but dropped last update to a PR2. No telling when the update will happen, but it is in season.

I got a PR of 3, in Dec 08 after blogging for about 4 months. I was also expecting an update in last week of March or first week of April.
Would it be too much if I expect a PR of 5 in this update?

Google updated the toolbar page rank again on 2 April 2009. This time they filtered more back links. Previously i have around 70 now i have just 10 back links left for my site http://www.cybex.in. But site rank well on all top keywords. It seems google backlinks scheme updated too. It still loves article links as i did for my site. I implemented news section and rss feeds on the site which rocks well and may be the reason of ranking my all keywords.

It was a strange update considering the average time was about 3 months and this came in just 2 months.

If Google sticks with the average time to update, it should be around 8/27, but the last update came earlier than average (60 days).

My Page has going from 0 to 2 for the last update. I am expect it to go to 4 for this update.
I have one question, i have been submitting my website to some of the web directories with page rank 2
1,2 and 3. I manually submitted the links to this websites, will that effect in my google page.
I was also submiting the articles to main article directories without changing the content. I mean I have submitted same article to main directories. Will that effect my page rank and SERPs.
Can you please give me some advice on this.
My website was live from MARCH 2009 and got a Page rank 2. Is it good or bad?

Google Pagerank is based on backlinks coming into you website. The more you have the better. We provided a list of PR5 to P8 directories that you should also submit to. Your site is doing well in just a short time.
