Choosing the right keywords is critical and could make or break a websites success in search engine result pages, also known as SERP. Target the wrong keywords within your niche could result in losing out on potential new customers or visitors to your website. There are many keywords that are less competitive, but are diamonds in the rough when it comes to search.
Self SEO offers a free Keyword Suggestion Tool – Keyword Popularity Tool.
This keyword suggestion tool will help you with choosing the right keywords terms and or phrases for your website. You can see which keyword combination’s are more popular and also get ideas for more keyword combination’s. Those keyword popularity results are extracted from two sources – Keyword Discovery and Overture.
What I like most about this tool is that it provides the number of daily searches for the particular keyword. In the image below I typed in the keywords “Internet Security” to see how many daily searches are performed for those keywords.

Visit the Keyword Suggestion Tool and give it a try.
Note: The data is not 100% accurate, but it will give you an idea which keywords are more popular than others.

I like that it focuses on daily terms. The monthly overview could have one day where a term was popular, but a week later, no one could care the less. Each keyword tool is bound to pull up a new term that you haven’t thought of, but should.

Looks like a must-try. =) The daily keyword-search feature does look promising.
Frank, if I may ask, how would you compare this Keyword Suggestion Tool to Google Adwords? Any opinions on their effectiveness?
Thanks in advance.

Ching,
I would say Google has the advantage, but it’s good to have more than one tool to get averages.
