		<description>The Fedora Core 10 has some problems with network too. One has to loging as root and change the network configuration file manually to add up netmask etc to the file.

Even if you write correct DNS in widgets it will not work and your network will not run.
you have to do it manually in /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0</description>

		<description>I understand, but other distros have found ways to include these features. They have a popup to notify you that it is installing the packages. A newbie will not know to install the repos. For linux to take some desktop market share from windows these kind of little issues need to be resolved.

		<description>if you already have the repos added, packagekit will find and install that stuff for you - but that&#039;s probably as far as it will ever go. Fedora has legal and ethical issues with those kinds of things and will not touch them.</description>
