The owner of the registered name is the sole person to make such decisions. He(she) took the financial burden to keep this name and he(she) should make any decisions based on the financial burden he carried. It is like you buy a house and because you do not live there, you cannot be the landlord. This is against our freedom. The second horrible thing is you let a registrar be your partner, is like assigning a real estate agent to make decisions for you( I am sure eventually, they will take the lion share from the transaction while the owner may get pennies), would anyone accept that. These ideas could be from the registrars, who some of them are doing horrible things to get their hands on good domain names (I had that experience). If ICANN imposes this, it would be very useful to have approprate names to needy ones!
