Rich,

If your system seems faster, great. If you haven't noticed any strange things happening, than your software that you purchased is fine.

I saw that commercial about mycleanpc.com and i downloaded the free trial and ran it. It found a lot fo stuff wrong with my computer, so I bought the upgrade since it came with a 30 day money back guarantee. It ran, and when i restarted my computer, it was definitely much faster. I may not be no computer expert, but my computer seems faster so I'm happy with it.

I actually got MyCleanPC. First, it clearly says everywhere that it is powered by Cyberdefender, a NASDAQ company. i think they get more oversite then a free software company operating out of a backroom somewhere. my experience with them was reasonable for the price I paid. It was the first time I ran any kind of software like this after more than 3 years of using my system. it found more then 1000 issues and seemed to fix all of them. Maybe its is buyer defense but I know my system is faster then before using it.

I know not everyone will have the same result, and I have tried several free programs only to have to uninstall them when they did very little or I could not get any support. So is MyCleanPCfor everyone - no, but for some and especially those who are not computer geniuses it seems to do something.
