American Idol Comes To Wii

American Idol has been a huge hit. Guess what? A new video game is in the works and we are sure it will be a huge hit like the original reality show. The game is called “Boogie SuperStar” The latest from Electronic Art’s for the Nintendo Wii system.
The object of the game is to compete with rival players by singing and dancing to earn the grand title of Boogie SuperStar. Players are “discovered” and whisked away in a stretch limo to an island where they hone their skills for the competition.
Electronic Arts created the game specifically for female teens and pre-teens, or tweens, a demographic often overlooked by video game publishers.
In the United States, 38 percent of all gamers are female, according to the Entertainment Software Association.
This is one smart technology company that always seems to be ahead of the curve as far as marketing and strategy goes. Teens or also called Tweens, will go crazy wild over this new game offered on the Wii system.
Do you have what it takes to be a Boogie Superstar? The game is scheduled to be released October of 2008 which is just before the holiday season, great timing!
