Adding Fuel to a New Blog

The competition is tremendous with new blogs popping up each day. In the last 2 years this epidemic has changed the internet for the better. How does a new blog compete with the masses?
Two questions you should ask yourself:
Are you really going to dedicate yourself to this effort? Will you actively post each day with interesting and profound content? If you truly think that you can do this, than let’s get started.
How to add fuel to your new blog that will drive traffic:
1. Socialize! Join at least 2 to 3 social web sites such as StumbleUpon and Digg. Rule of thumb; never submit your own blogs to any social web site. Always have your friends submit your new blog. You can join Entrecard and post your blog in the community forums and offer credits for Stumbles and Diggs.
2. Go the extra mile! Join Entrecard and make new friends while dropping cards on other blog sites to gain credits for advertising your 125×125 widget on other blog sites. Join in on conversations with the community and start campaigning. Entrecard is a great site for new blog owners, and it will provide fast results.
3. Comment, COMMENTS, and more! Yes, it has been said by many established blog sites that commenting on other blogs will build your fan base and in turn create a following.
There are other ways you can leverage your blog to drive traffic, but the three I have listed have worked really well.

Socialize, go that Extra Mile and Comment…. if you love people, help people and believe in / or are sold on whatever it is your promoting /passionate about….it’s a given, success will knock at your door.
Not wealth necessarily, but you will be happy with the result of your efforts.
